This video demonstrates everything about Power Plants and the power grid system in Simburbia. When you build a power plant in Simburbia it automatically creates a power grid around it at a 2 plot radius. These plots are now available to build in. If you destroy the power plant, all those plots will become un-powered and will be abandoned. The design of the power plant is random, but if you get an undesirable design, you are able to try to change it without spending the full price again with a Government Grant. But we’ll talk about tax options another time. Also it should be noted that just because power plants are integral to the well being of your city, don’t think they do not succumb to natural disasters. While they will not normally abandon over time like normal buildings, they to suffer from other disasters which can increase the problem from being just a giant who walked through your city destroying a few plots, to a giant taking out a powerplant causing a mass of buildings to become abandoned in the process. So keep that in mind.
Every weekend from now on I’ll be releasing a video on Simburbia. So if you’re interested in Sim City in Minecraft, then stay tuned! Of course you could just subscribe to Jigarbov on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/jigarbov)… but there will be additional information right here with each update.
Simburbia Teaser #3 Giant Disaster
This video is demonstrating one of the random disasters that can occur. The Giant can spawn anywhere on the map at any time. He will walk in a vertical line away from the town hall destroying everything in its path! The distance he walks changes depending on how strong the guy it… he might make it the whole length and wipe out a large number of plots… or he might stub his tow on a residents house and die early. Who knows, just know that he is a devastating force. Of course as he is destroying plots, the land values beside his path of destruction dynamically change causing the plots to update their look, tax money output and other statistics.

Simburbia Teaser #2 Creeper Disaster
This video is demonstrating one of the random disasters that can occur. It wipes out 5 plots in a “plus” shape and can appear all over the city. Once destroyed, the land values around it dynamically change causing the plots to update their look, tax money output and other statistics.

Infinity Dungeon ∞ Beta V2.0
I took the feedback I got from the previous version of Infinity Dungeon… I changed up the randomising system and added double the content that was there before. So not only is there now double the rooms, but those rooms will also have different variations on not only their loot and mobs like before but also the way they look. So you should very rarely has the same room twice! Of course, random is random, so it’s entirely possible to happen but I’ve done a lot of work to make sure it happens a lot less often. The web placements, the clay placements also have a habit of changing too… so that should be interesting.
Here’s a fancy new screenshot, I might even need to remake the trailer since it shows all the old stuff and none of the new fancy stuff!
Anyway, as always play at your own risk, snapshot 14w10c or later. Any bugs you find, feel free to report them here or on the Minecraft forum thread.
